Telenor Arena

Telenor Arena is a famous multifunctional indoor arena located in Fornebu, a suburb of the Norwegian capital Oslo. Venue for home matches of the local football club Stabaek. Until the opening of the arena, the country's main airport was located on this site.

The grand opening ceremony of the stadium took place on March 8, 2009. The name of the arena comes from the name of the sponsor - one of the largest Norwegian telecommunications companies Telenor. The maximum spectator capacity of the location during football matches is 15 thousand 600 spectators, and during concerts - 23 thousand.

The first match held in the new arena was the 2009 Norwegian Super Cup meeting between the 2008 Norwegian champion Stabaek and the 2008 Norwegian Cup winner Valerenga. Then the stadium's home team celebrated the victory.

Telenor Arena is also in demand as a concert venue. At various times, celebrities such as Tina Turner, Lady Gaga, Sean Bean and AC/DC performed here.

In 2010, the popular European song contest Eurovision 2010 was held here. The main performances took place on May 25, 27 and 29. Also, thanks to the modern technical equipment of the location, the main Eurovision press center was located at the Telenor Arena.
